R12: AP: Invoice Approval Workflow More Information Request Has Approve Button (Doc ID 2307014.1)

After upgrading from 12.1.3 to 12.2.6, when a More Information Request is initiated in the Payables Invoice Approval Workflow, the user answering the request has the APPROVE button and can approve the invoice.  The user giving more information should not be able to Approve the invoice.


1. Create invoice and initiate Approval, it will go to USER-A.

2. Login as USER-A and click on the Approval Notification which will lead to the Notification Details page.

3. Click on "More Information Requested" , and transfer this request to USER-B with the comment "More info requested".

4. Login as USER-B, click on Notification link which will lead to the Notification Details page.

In release 12.1.3 after step 4 there are no buttons ( approve, reject, etc.) available on the page which is intended because USER-B does not have right to approve or reject the invoice.  But in 12.2.6 after step 4, all buttons are available on the page which is not intended.



Upgrade from R12.1.3 to R12.2.6.
