Trade Transaction Is Not Copying Transport Mode From Shipment (Doc ID 2320612.1)

Symptoms

Shipment is created via normal bulk plan process. Carrier, Transport Mode, shipment cost are correctly seen as part of shipment object.
Trade transaction is created via shipment action.
Trade Transaction gets created without the field 'Transport Mode' which is ideally copied from Shipment.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Shipment Management>>Shipment>>action - create trade transaction
2. Trade Transaction gets created without transport mode
