OTM Allows to Update All Saved Queries in All Domains, If the Saved Queries Have the Same Saved Query Name. (Doc ID 2324963.1)

Last updated on JULY 20, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Management - Version 6.4.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

OTM does not validate if a Saved Query exists in multiple domains. Updating a Saved Query in one domain, makes the same changes in the other domains' Saved Queries too.

Example:
-----------
Domains:

PARENT-DOMAIN
SUB-DOMAIN
LITE-DOMAIN

SUB-DOMAIN.SAVEDQUERY01
LITE-DOMAIN.SAVEDQUERY01

Action: Log in as SUB-DOMAIN, update SUB-DOMAIN.SAVEDQUERY01.
Observation: The same change will happen on LITE-DOMAIN.SAVEDQUERY01 as well
