Purpose

The goal of this note is to demonstrate the default pricing of items on PO's and Requisitions and how the List Price setup on the Organization Attributes and Item Master form are used when Requisitions and PO's are entered.

Pricing modifications for items during the autocreate process and grouping and pricing of non-catalog items during autocreate will also be demonstrated.

Scope

NOTE: In the images below and/or the attached document, user details / company name / address / email / telephone number represent a fictitious sample (based upon made up data used in the Oracle Demo Vision instance).  Any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental and not intended in any manner.

This document is intended for any user to illustrate and demonstrate the generic pricing setups with items, user entered pricing on Requisitions and Purchase Orders and Autocreate price modification functionality.  Also illustrated will be the autocreated grouping and pricing behavior for non catalog items.

For more information and examples on other pricing topics see the following:

It is assumed that the audience will know how to create requisitions in certain scenarios with a specified item and price.

In the Autocreate examples, the grouping method of "Default" will always be used for demonstration.

For more information on Autocreate Requisition Grouping See <Note 1308439.1> What Are The Requisition Fields Used For Grouping During The Autocreate Process?
