Workers Hang While Applying 25820806

While applying 25820806
Following "Applying the Latest AD and TXK Release Update Packs to Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 ( Doc ID 1617461.1 )"
The workers running ad_adop_session_patches.xdf and ad_adop_sessions.xdf run for several hours with no apparent activity.
Further investigation indicates that the 'ebs_patch' service name is causing issues when multiple environments are registered to the same listener
It is expected that each service name would connect to it's own unique corresponding database.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Apply patch
Due to this issue, users cannot complete ad/txk patch application.
