Rate Factor Effective_Date Stored With 08:00:00

Symptoms
When you create a rate factor you are giving effective date from 01-JAN-2018 but in database it stored as 01-JAN-18 08.00.00.
You need to understand from where this 08.00.00 is coming and why OTM is adding it.
Table Name is RATE_FACTOR
Column name is EFFECTIVE_DATE
Navigate to Contract and Rate Management -> Power Data ->General ->R ate Factor.
- Enter Source Rate Factor ID, Click on New Rate Factor Button
- Enter effective date from 01-JAN-2018 and some expiration date and put some value in Factor Value and click on "Save".
- Check the inserted value in RATE_FACTOR table you will see effective date has 01-JAN-18 08.00.00
