Symptoms

When some employees apply for internal jobs via iRecruitment or Core HR, the following error occurs.

iRecruitment:
You are no longer permitted to enter a number for this person. Please close and reopen the application window you are using. If you are using an API then please rerun the script that calls the API. Doing this enables the application to generate a sequential number automatically.

Core HR:
APP-PER-289850 - You are no longer permitted to enter a number for this person. Please close and reopen the application window you are using. If you are using an API then please rerun the script that calls the API. Doing this enables the application to generate a sequential number automatically.

 

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

iRecruitment:

1. Log on to the system as the employee.

2. Choose the responsibility iRecruitment Employee Candidate.

3. Search for a vacancy.

4. Apply for the vacancy.

5. Enter the required information for the application.

6. Submit the application.

Core HR:

1. Log on as an HR user

2. Choose an HR responsibility, e.g. US HR Manager.

3. Navigate to People-> Enter and Maintain.

4. Query the employee.

5. Click on Others-> Application.

6. Create an application for a vacancy.

7. Save the changes.
