Symptoms

Release 12 version, Geography Hierarchy has been set up but the LOV for the STATE Field in the address contains the abbreviated STATE name and not the entire STATE name.

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Address Validation for State not displaying entire state name but only the abbreviated state name.    ie: MH and not Maharashta is displayed for the state name.
can successfully use the LOV on the customer address form to create a new address and select a state from the LOV and save. However, when we go back to the record - the page throws an error indicating the value we just picked (and can pick again) is invalid.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
State enable validation should occur without error.   Full state name should display in the LOV (list of values) but only the state abbreviated code should write to the address form and to the record created for HZ_LOCATIONS.
