Time Zone of Shipment Start Time and Shipment End Time Time Incorrectly Displayed When Using Depot Stops That Are In a Different Time Zone Than the First/Last Freighted Stops (Doc ID 2378088.1)

Last updated on JULY 20, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Management - Version 6.4.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A shipment is created using a Depot Profile where the time zone of the Depot stops (first or last) do not match the following stop (for first depot) or preceding stop (for last depot).
In this situation the timezone of the shipment Start Time or End Time is incorrectly displayed and using the freighted stop's time zone instead of the Depot stop Time Zone.

For example:

A shipment is created with the following stops:

1 - Depot-Start (timezone: PDT)
2 - Freighted Pickup (timezone: MDT)
3 - Freighted Delivery (timezone: MDT)
4 - Depot-End (timezone: PDT)

In this situation the Shipment Start Time and End Time are being displayed in MDT timezone even though the shipment is actually starting/ending in the PDT timezone.
