PERWSQHM - FRM-40403: A Calling Form Has Unapplied Changes. Save Not Allowed (Doc ID 2381431.1)

When attempting to save an absence using management templates (Form Name : PERWSQHM, Form Version : 12.0.96.12010000.34)
the following error occurs:

ERROR
'FRM-40403: A calling form has unapplied changes. Save not allowed shown in the status bar.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

XX HRMS Manager
Navigation: People > Enter and Maintain
Click on Absence
Enter Absence Details and Click ‘Save’ button in the tool bar
Shows error message:
FRM-40403: A calling form has unapplied changes. Save not allowed.
Click on x (of the window) to close the form then gets prompt for saving the record and record can be saved.
