R12: EBTAX Invalid Tax Registration Number for Portugal (Doc ID 2385741.1)

Navigate to Supplier -> Create Supplier -> Type of party: Supplier, Choose Tax Country : Portugal -> enter Tax registration number: XXXXXXXX

At the time of saving the record for the Tax Registration Number for Portugal it errors out with the message:

"Please Enter a Valid Tax Registration Number"

This issue is not caused due to environment or product defect. It is a user error.
