Getting "Error: Encountered an error in JAI_OM_TAX_DET_PKG.determine_factors" while creating Sales Order (Doc ID 2389670.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, GST Order Management

When attempting to save Sales Order line information, the following error occurs.

ERROR

Error: Encountered an error in JAI_OM_TAX_DET_PKG.determine_factors

As per FND Debug log we can see the below error message

fnd.plsql.APP_EXCEPTION.RAISE_EXCEPTION.dict_auto_log JAI_EXCEPTION_OCCURED (JAI_PROCESS_MSG=jai_cmn_utils_pkg.currency_conversion. Err:ORA-20120: Currency Conversion Rate Not Defined In The System)

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Enter Sales Order header information.
2. Navigate to Lines Tab and enter Line information.
3. Save the Line Details then we can observe the error

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot create the Sales order hence cannot ship the items on time.
