ORA-01779 Error Occurs When Creating External/ Manual Payment with "Other form of Payment" (Doc ID 2391726.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

When Navigating to FastPath > External/Manual Payment and attempting to create External/Manual Payment with method "Other form of Payment", "Check Number" field is enterable and mandatory. Following error occurs when saving the record.

ORA-01779: cannot modify a column which maps to a non key-preserved table
FRM-40508: ORACLE error: unable to INSERT record.

 

 

Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Log in with HRMS Responsibility.
  2.  Go to FastPath > External/Manual Payments.
  3.  Enter mandatory field Check Number.
  4.  Select Method "Other form of Payment".
  5.  Save.
  6.  Error occurs.
