ASN In RCV_TRANSACTIONS_INTERFACE.GROUP_ID NULL Using Supplier Hierachy: The GROUP_ID specified is invalid (Doc ID 2392926.1)

Last updated on MARCH 15, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle iSupplier Portal - Version 12.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When attempting to create one ASN in iSupplier Portal with two different suppliers for 3 different POs,
the following error below occurs.

This is using parent supplier setup as supplier hierarchy. With this configuration, as the main supplier can see in iSupplier all POs of all suppliers which have the main supplier assigned as parent supplier.

Data:
PO 1, Supplier 1, Item 1
PO 2, Supplier 2, Item 2
PO 3, Supplier 2, Item 3

For this ASN are 3 lines created in the RCV_TRANSACTIONS_INTERFACE with the following data:
HEADER_INTERFACE_ID 1, GROUP_ID 1, PO 1, Supplier 1
HEADER_INTERFACE_ID 2, GROUP_ID 1, PO 2, Supplier 2
HEADER_INTERFACE_ID 1, GROUP_ID NULL, PO 3, Supplier 2

In the RCV_HEADERS_INTERFACE are 2 lines inserted:
HEADER_INTERFACE_ID 1, GROUP_ID 1, Shipment Number
HEADER_INTERFACE_ID 2, GROUP_ID 1, Shipment Number

Then Receiving Transaction Processor throws back following error message while importing the shipment:
