FNDRSRUN Reprint / Republish button causes java.lang.NullPointerException (Doc ID 2396896.1)

Symptoms

After the application of patch 27254258 and 23527993, the Reprint / Republish button causes the following screen error message:

"Error

You have encountered an unexpected error. Please contact the System Administrator for assistance."

A Framework stack trace provides the following exception error message when clicking on the "Reprint/Republish" button:
