Calendar with Commodity Restriction Not Working When Network Routing is Used (Doc ID 2399787.1)

Last updated on JULY 20, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Management - Version 6.4.1 to 6.4.3 [Release 6.4]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A location Role Profile Calendar is created for a location to restrict or not let a particular Commodity to be received at the location. For a shipment that is routed without Network Routing, the calendar works correctly and does not allow the order to plan when the particular commodity is on the order. It also will allow an order that does not have the commodity on it to plan successfully. When Network Routing is used however, any order will fail to plan regardless of if their is a commodity on it or not. In the case when there is no commodity on the order and therefore the Role Profile Calendar should not be considered, it still uses that calendar and fails to plan the order.
