Goal

Overview:


In later versions of Oracle 11i and in R12, Oracle has introduced Oracle Web Applications Desktop Integrator (hereon referred to as Oracle Web ADI) functionality which is used to integrate MS Excel, MS Projects with Oracle Applications. Examples where Oracle Web ADI can be used with MS Excel that come seeded with an Oracle EBS install are:

   Uploading journal entries (actuals and budgets) to the GL module
   Uploading budget amounts to the GL module
   Uploading foreign currencies to the GL module
   Uploading Fixed Assets additions/impairments to the FA module.
   Uploading expenditure batches to the Projects suite
