Symptoms
On 12.1.3 version, Apps rpt sets, rpt server, seeded rpts
Getting the following error:
Followed below notes:
ld: fatal: library -ljvm: not found When Applying Patch 5969391 on Sun Solaris Sparc (64bit) (<Note 1178103.1>)
ld: fatal: library -ljvm: not found with opatch or when relinking Forms on Solaris (<Note 556240.1>)
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. cd $ORACLE_HOME/forms/lib32
/* Note: if this directory does not exist, use the following command: */
2. cd $ORACLE_HOME/forms/lib
3. $ make -f ins_forms.mk sharedlib install
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, the instance is down.
