Why is Concurrent Output Printing Duplex By Default on Lexmark Printer? (Doc ID 2414696.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 23, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Application Object Library - Version 12.1.3 to 12.1.3 [Release 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Have installed a new network Lexmark printer.
Upon testing print jobs from eBusiness concurrent manager, the jobs are arriving at the Lexmark printer but all jobs are printing out Duplex by default.
The print style being used is PDF Publisher which uses Drive Name PASTA_PDF.
Attempted to influence the print job by updating the $FND_TOP/resource/pasta_pdf.cfg with parameter duplex=n but it did not work.
Attempted to change PASTA_PDF arguments

from:
-pn$PROFILES$.PRINTER -f$PROFILES$.FILENAME -c$PROFILES$.CONC_COPIES -Fpasta_pdf.cfg

To:
-pn$PROFILES$.PRINTER -f$PROFILES$.FILENAME -c$PROFILES$.CONC_COPIES -o sides=one-sided -Fpasta_pdf.cfg

but it didn't like that option.
Need to force the print job to only print single sided.
