Symptoms
On the Shipping Transactions form, unable to view the serial number on an interfaced detail line successfully. When attempting to view the serial number, the following error occurs.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Shipping->Transactions.
2. Query the sales order.
3. Click on Tools->Serial Entry.
