E-Business Suite 12.2 Applications Technology Stack, Weblogic Server related issues

 

 

 

 




E-Business Suite administrators report the Weblogic Admin Server and oacore_server1 log files continuously grow to excessive sizes, causing file system and disk space issues.


For example the following output shows the disk space usage which can occur in some cases:

$ du -sh *
30G     AdminServer
4.0K    AdminServerTag
88K     domain_bak
143M    forms-c4ws_server1
4.0G    forms_server1
48G     oacore_server1
233M    oafm_server1
 
Users are requesting the Weblogic AdminServer and oacore_server1 log files be prevented from consuming excessive disk space.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users experience disk full

Enabled BC4J logging was enabled for troubleshooting.
