Symptoms



After cloning a EBS 12.1.3 with RAC and 2 node application tiers the following error occurs

Error while invoking Main Menu. Application: FND, Message Name: FND_SESSION_MGR_INST_ERROR.

If you refresh the page a few times you will see the following message

Error while invoking Main Menu. JBO-30012: A cookie for session XwFSVumNrjjrn0yHqxGulHTISS and application oracle.apps.fnd.framework.navigate.server.OANavigatePortletAM has already been registered

with application pool xxxxxxx.wssc.ad.rootxxxx_BALANCExxxxoracle.apps.fnd.framework.navigate.server.OANavigatePortletAM.

The cookie must be removed first.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Clone a EBS 12.1.3 with RAC and 2 node application tiers
2. Start Apps services on both nodes
3. Login

 Cloning a 121.3 environment with RAC and 2 Node Apps tier.
