Symptoms
E-Business Suite 12.2 Report Manager, Core Functionality related issues
When using IE 11 and Excel 2013 users cannot Upload a Template and receive message:
'Confirmation
The upload process has completed with the following status:
*A system error has occurred. Have your System Administrator view the bne.log file'
or
'System Error contact System Administrator'
In some cases the upload hangs for 20-30 minutes and finally terminates in the above error.
When users try to upload the template several times, it will then terminate with Error:
'Failure of Webserver Bridge or Error - The connection to the server is unavailable.'
When one of these two errors is received, the Webserver will crash and the administrator will need to restart the webserver.
It can happen on one large template, and may not occur for all templates.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Try to upload a specific template and it hangs until failure
The issue has the following business impact:
Unable to upload one template
