Symptoms
When attempting to submit a leave request, users intermittently receive the following error :
ERROR

You have entered a value that makes Annual Leave balance negative. Negative balances are not allowed. Also, calculate duration is returning 0..
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Employee Self Service
2. Absence Management
3. Enter Leave details
BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users receive an error related to their balance which prevents them from entering leaves that cause the balance to be negative.
