Symptoms
Problem Statement:
The description for independent value set takes log time to get refreshed on the hire hire page for people group flex fields
Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Use below responsibility and function
Responsibility:System administrator
(N) Application -> Validation -> Set - Enter below information
Value Set Name: XXXTEST - Create values as well
(N) Application -> Validation -> Values
"Values, Effective"tab

10 XXXTEST
20 XXXTEST20 - Set up the value set in the kff
So, use below responsibility and function
Responsibility:System administrator
(N) Application -> Flexfield -> Key -> Segments - Search the below value in the field "Flexfield Title"
People Group Flexfield - Put the cursor in the record which we are using and also make sure that Freeze Flexfield Definition has been removfed and then click the button "Segment"
- Enter the value in the value set field as XXXTEST and then check the check box "Freeze Flexfield Definition" and then compile.
- Use below responsibility and function
Responsibility:XXX Manager Self Service
(N) Hire - Enter the below information in the page "Hire: Enter Basic Details" and click the button "Continue"
Last Name < Last Name > :XXXTESTXXXX - Enter the below information in the page "Hire: Person Details" and click the next button
Employee Number:XXXTESTXXXX
Date of Birth: 15-Aug-1980
Gender:Male - we need to enter below information in the page "Hire: Assignment" and then check the behavior in People Group
XXXPeople groupFF 10
Description: XXXTEST - if we change the value as 20 and then the value still have the same "XXXTEST20", which should be seen as XXXTEST
