Symptoms
Mobile Web Applications Server, Mobile Applications related issues
Oracle Mobile Web Applications user login attempts fail with the following error:
'Authentication Failed'
After the error occurs, the User Account is locked.
If the Profile Option Signon Password Failure Limit = 3, it is easy for the Users to reproduce this as the Keys of the Mobile Device are small which cause typos to be more common then not.
Setting the profile to a higher limit provides more attempts before user accounts are locked.
Steps to Reproduce the issue:
Attempts sequence
1. (wrong password)
2. (wrong password)
3. ( correct password and login success)
4. (wrong password)
On the 4th attempt the User Account becomes locked as the Failure Counter is not being reset to zero '0' after a successful login.
Changes
Applied 2018 April CPU patches.
