Symptoms
When attempting to update an item's Planning Method or unchecking cycle count enabled flag, one the following messages is displayed (either the message name or message text may be displayed)
Note: There are three different versions of this message as it has been updated several times to make it more user friendly:
Message Name: INV_DISABLE_ACTIVE_CYCLE_COUNT
Message Text: You cannot disable this cycle_count_enabled_flag field when there is active cycle count record exist.
Message Text: You cannot disable the cycle count enabled flag when the item is present on an active cycle count.
Message Text: Before disabling the Cycle Count Enabled attribute, you must remove the item from active cycle counts.
Message Text: You cannot disable this cycle_count_enabled_flag field when there is active cycle count record exist.
Message Text: You cannot disable the cycle count enabled flag when the item is present on an active cycle count.
