R12 Create An Extra Task Under Workplan and receive "You have charged a supplier invoice to this task with a finish date that is after the task finish date." (Doc ID 2467303.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Costing Setup


User is trying to create an extra task under Workplan in Oracle Projects.

 

STEPS
----------------------
- Enter Project Number
- Go
- Select the Project
- Workplan Tab
- All Tasks > Go
- select the Project Name
- Actions > Update Tasks > Go
- Tick ‘Select’ on the last Task Number.
- Create Task
- Complete Task Number, Task Name, Scheduled Start/Finish
- Apply



When publish the workplan  got the following error:

"You have charged a supplier invoice to this task with a finish date that is after the task finish date. Please revise the task finish date so that it is the same or later than the supplier invoice finish date: 'DD-MON-YYYY'."



Ran the following SQL query script which did not pull through the particular Project/Invoice -
