E-Business Suite Workflow Mailer Outbound Notification To External User Or Vendor Includes The 'Notification details.html' Attachment For Users Without E-Business Access (Doc ID 2473177.1)

Symptoms

E-Business Suite 12.2 Workflow Mailer, Notification Outbound Processing issues

 

 

 




When the notification preference is set to 'MAILHTML' or 'MAILATTH', it sends the standard attachment 'Notification details.html' along with other attachments.

If the recipient is external user (for example ''supplier user'') which has no access to E-Business, the ''Notification details.html'' link will not open for them.

The 'Notification details.html' attachment should be removed for external users, and the NOTIFICATION DETAIL.HTML should not be included in an email to vendors.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Send PO email to the supplier.
2. Check that email has the html attachment in the email.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, Supplier cannot open the html attachement
