Duplicate Records Of Withholding Tax Groups In Supplier Sites (Doc ID 2474556.1)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

In Oracle iSupplier Portal, Release 12.2.7, during maintenance of supplier information, the Invoice Withholding Tax Group list of values window is showing the same Group name value multiple times.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

It is expected that the group value will only appear once in the LOV search results and that duplicates will not appear.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

   1. Log in to Oracle Applications, using a Payables responsibility.
   2. Navigate to Suppliers > Entry.
   3. On the Suppliers home page, search for the desired supplier, and click the Update icon in the search results.
   4. On the Update Supplier page, on the left-side menu click the Tax Details link.
   5. On the Update Supplier: Tax Details page, in the Supplier Sites region the "Allow Tax Withholding" is enabled for each of the sites, but the Invoice Withholding Tax Group value is not yet selected.
   6. For the desired supplier site, click the list of values (LOV) icon for the Invoice Withholding Tax Group column.
   7. In the Search and Select: Invoice Withholding Tax Group window, search by description for the desired value.
       In the search results, the value "17%+2%+1.5%" is shown three (3) times instead of one time.

   8. However, in Payables responsibility > Setup > Tax > Withholding > Group, the form shows the group created with three tax codes assigned to the group.

It seems that the "Search and Select: Invoice Withholding Tax Group" LOV is showing the Group name one time each for the number of tax codes assigned to the group.
Example, if the group has three tax codes assigned, the LOV is showing the Group name three times, and if the group has five codes assigned, the LOV is showing the Group name five (5) times.
The LOV window should only show the Group name one time in the search results, no matter how many Codes are assigned to the Group.
