Unnecessary Negative Retirement Expense Is Calculated Even Though Date Retired Is Current Period (Doc ID 2479859.1)

Goal

When perform retirement for an asset with Custom Method, unnecessary a negative retirement expense is calculated even though date retired is current period.


Steps to Reproduce
1.  Create a New Custom Depreciation Method

    (N)Setup > Depreciation > Methods
    ----------------------------------------------
    Depreciation Method        : TEST_METHOD
    Depreciate in Year Retired : No
    ----------------------------------------------



2.  2018-04 *** Addition

    Cost                       : 2400000
    YTD Depreciation           : 0
    Accumulated Depreciation   : 0
    Date in Service            : 01-APR-2018
    Depreciation Method        : TEST_METHOD (24 months)
    Salvage Value              : 0
    Depreciation Limit Amount  :
    Depreciate Flag            : Yes


3.  2019-07 *** Before Retirement
    
    Cost                       : 2400000
    YTD Depreciation           : 300000
    Accumulated Depreciation   : 1500000
    Date in Service            : 01-APR-2018
    Depreciation Method        : TEST_METHOD (24 months)
    Salvage Value              : 0
    Depreciation Limit Amount  :
    Depreciate Flag            : Yes



4A. 2019-07 *** Full Retirement

    Date Retired           : 01-JUL-2019
    Cost Retired           : 2400000
    Retirement Convention  : *Current Month
    Proceeds of sale       : 0
    Cost of removal        : 0


    FA_ADJUSTMENTS

      ---> RETIREMENT EXPENSE is the same as (YTD Depreciation which was calculated before retirement) * 1200000/2400000
