Does the 'File Type Validation' feature within Doc ID 1357849.1 'Security Configuration Mechanism in the Attachments Feature in Oracle E-Business Suite" checks the file's MIME type during upload?

Presently, "I can rename any file and upload it. It's not checking the mime_type."
