Symptoms



After applying the patch for Bug 28894676 - ORDER BASE RELEASING LINES NOT FLAGGED AS SHIPPABLE FOR ORDER BASE MOD EDIT SHIPMENT and using an Agent where Agent Type = ORDER BASE, Agent Event = ORDER BASE - CREATED, Restrictions = INTEGRATION or USER with before persist unchecked, and Action = RELEASE ORDER BASE a NullPointerException will occur when uploaded an order base creation XML.

Debug Agent Performing action ReleaseOrderBase: releasingType=Release Unprocessed Release Instructions (COMP-OB-DATA-TO-NEW-PCT-V07-643) as ELX (1373766548); was ReleaseOrderBase: releasingType=Release Unprocessed Release Instructions [agentPlanning - 8]
Error Exception [033441] java.lang.NullPointerException

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1) Business Process Automation > Agents and Milestones > Automation Agent. Create a new agent as follows.
Agent Type = ORDER BASE
Agent Event = ORDER BASE - CREATED
Restrictions = INTEGRATION or USER with before persist unchecked
Action = RELEASE ORDER BASE
Releasing Type = Release Unprocessed Release Instructions

2) Business Process Automation > Integration > Integration Manager > Uploadan XML/CSV Transmission. Upload XML file to create an order base with 3 lines as follows.

Line 1 where shippable flag = Y and packaged item count = 10.
Line 2 where shippable flag = Y and packaged item count = 5.
Line 3 where shippable flag = N and packaged item count = 1.
