E-Business Suite R12 Workflow, Agent Listener related issues
There is often a need to create a dedicated workflow listener, for diagnostic isolation or for increased performance.
This document provides steps to setup this listener to process a specific correlation ID for tracing.
The steps can also be used to add an extra dedicated listener, which will process events the following way:
In 12.1.3 the dedicated listener will process events in parallel to the seeded listener.
In 12.2 the dedicated listener will process events separately from the seeded listener and the seeded listener will no longer process
events for which there is defined a dedicated listener.
The WF_DEFERRED listener is used as an example but the method can be used for any listener which is processing PLSQL events.
