Information in this document applies to any platform.

Payables Trial Balance Report contains Fully Paid Invoices having Final Payment Rounding generated for Exchange Rate Variance (ERV) calculated due to missing RELATED_ID for Miscellaneous Lines (GST).

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Create receipt with GST in foreign currency with Currency Rate A.
  2. Create ERS Invoice for that receipt with Currency Rate B.
  3. Validate and account the invoice.
  4. Pay the invoice and account the payment.
  5. Extra payment accounting is getting generated for (B-A)*Tax Amount.
  6. Run the Payables Trial Balance report
  7. The invoice is showing in the report as Fully Paid but with the Remaining Amount equals with extra payment accounting.

When exchange rate at receipt level and exchange rate at invoice level are not same, then extra payment accounting is getting generated for Exchange Rate Variance (ERV) amount of GST tax portion. (Miscellaneous Lines)
