Symptoms
After upgrading instance from 12.1.3 to 12.2.7, following view PER_POSITIONS_V becames invalid
and errors out when trying to recompile the same:
ERROR
ORA-01445: cannot select ROWID from, or sample, a join view without a key-preserved table
ORA-01445: cannot select ROWID from, or sample, a join view without a key-preserved table
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Upgrade from 12.1.3 to 12.2.7
2. When attempting to compile view PER_POSITIONS_V
3. Error occurs.
Changes
upgrade EBS from 12.1.3 to 12.2.7
