ArcArchive Log Size Increased Unexpectedly - IEM_IMT_KEYWORDS (Doc ID 2512435.1)

Goal

There has been a massive and sudden increase in daily archive log size. The analysis performed by the DBAs confirmed one of the possible cause is in the IEM_IMT_KEYWORDS table.

The table has 143,875,948 rows. Are there any jobs that would purge/delete data from the table or configuration options to prevent programs writing so many rows into the table or any other option to reduce the size of the table?
