APP-PAY-06466 Error Occurs When Attempting to Correct Costable Type in the Element Link Form (Doc ID 2571010.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

When attempting to update element link costable type in the Element Link form, the following error occurs.

APP-PAY-06466: Costable type must be corrected over the whole lifetime of the link

The costable type must be the same over the whole lifetime of the link. This is to ensure data integrity in the system.

 

 

Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Login as HRMS Manager responsibility
  2.  Go to Element Link form
    (N) Total Compensation > Basic > Link
  3.  Search for the Element
  4.  Update or Correct Costable Type
  5.  Error occurs
