Last updated on MARCH 15, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Purchasing - Version 12.2.8 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Customer is using Native Java API method call to Create and Update Purchase Orders in EBS(Doc ID 1573389.1).

This involves an use case to test attachment functionality for Purchase Orders created via Java API invocation.

The sample code shared in the note 1573389.1 does not talk about adding/updating attachments against a PO. Hence, users have tried adding code for simple PO Attachments in the code snippet used for creating POs by leveraging the existing Standard Attachment Java class 'PoAttachedDocument.class' and its attributes.

However, the attachments getting tagged to the Purchase Orders in application although POs are getting created successfully.

Please confirm if adding attachments through local JAVA call is feasible or not. If yes, do share the sample code/meta-link note for it.
