EXC: Transaction Exception Details by GL Period




Symptoms

At period closure, running the EXC: Transaction Exception Details by PA Period or the EXC: Transaction Exception Details by GL Period fails.  The output report is showing the exceptions below for Inventory / Manufacturing / Cost Management source. 

 

ERRORS: 

Exception Reason Cost Collector Error

Exception Reason The Cost Collector has not processed this transaction. It will be processed when the Cost Collector program is run for the organization

Transaction Import not run

 

 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Projects Responsibility > View > Requests > Submit a new request
  2. Run either the EXC: Transaction Exception Details by PA Period or the EXC: Transaction Exception Details by GL Period
  3. Review the output presenting exceptions

 

Note: this issue may be associated with period closure error code: PA_GL_PERIOD_PEND_MFG thrown on the period closure form.
