Mobile Field Service: Solutions Included in Cumulative Patch 30226625:R12.CSM.C (Sep 2019) (Doc ID 2586954.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 02, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Mobile Field Service - Version 12.2.8 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Multi-Platform - iOS / Android

Issues Reported:

[ 1 ] Pop Up Message:

Getting a message "Executing Custom Code" on opening any menu in the application.
This message only comes in for a fraction of second.

[ 2 ] Planned Effort for Service Request Tasks:

Planned Effort is not defaulting as expected after setting the below profile options:
        . CSF: Default Effort
        . CSF: Default Effort UOM

[ 3 ] Messages > Inbox:

The "Mark All" option is not working.
As a workaround, users can select one message at time, but that is time consuming.

[ 4 ] Default Distance Unit:

"CSF: Default Distance Unit" when set for Mobile Field Service (MFS) multi-platform does not work.
When the profile option is set at responsibility level for responsibility Oracle Mobile Field Service does not change the unit from Mile to Kilometer.

This profile is used to default the value to the Distance UOM field in Wireless and FSTP UIs, so this should be working in MFS also.
     (Ref: Note 1380135.1)

    Steps:

MFS Wireless and Field Service Tech/Admin Portal
         - Part search
=> Distance unit UOM is Mile and cannot be changed.
