Cannot Complete A Batch Using An Actual Completion Date Which Is In The Previous Period, Get Error, "No open period found for date entered" (Doc ID 2586962.1)

Goal

We need to complete and close a batch which is in WIP status, and the actual completion date and close date should be in the previous period. When attempting to do so, an error message pops up: "No open period found for date entered".

Also, there are a number of transactions performed in the current period, Transaction types: WIP Issue, WIP Return, WIP Completion, WIP Completion Return.

Will we be able to complete and close the batch in the previous period?
