Symptoms


When attempting to ship confirm  a delivery, the following error occurs:

 Delivery details in this delivery do not satisfy inventory controls.

 


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Go to the shipping transactions form, and ship confirm delivery nnnn
2. Above error results
3. Go to the Master Items form and find the item which you are trying to ship confirm
4. Inventory tab does not show any inventory controls
5. Run the Item definition report for this item
6. This report does not show any inventory controls, either.
