Symptoms

Attempting to upload journals using Web Applications Desktop Integrator results in the following error:

ERROR
-----------------------
Validation failed. Database character set does not have matching Java Character Set.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. (N) GL Responsibility > Journals > Launch Journal Wizard
2. Select General Ledger integrator and the desired layout. Click (B) Create.
3. Enter desired data. Click Upload from menu option.
4. Error occurs when attempting to upload.
