When attempting to update Application Accounting Definitions (AAD), Chart of Account the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
APP-XLA-95454: This application accounting definition is assigned to the subledger accounting method Standard Accrual - Oracle which uses a different chart of accounts than the one selected. Please select the chart of accounts used by that subledger accounting method or leave it blank.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
(M) Oracle Assets
Menu: Setup>Financials>Subledger Accounting>Accounting Methods Builder>Methods and Definitions>Application Accounting Definitions
1. Find applicable AAD
2. Attempt to add value to Chart of Accounts
