Symptoms

Problem Statement:

When attempting to run the API (pay_batch_element_entry_api.create_batch_line), the following error occurs.

ORA-20001: PAY_6306_INPUT_VALUE_FORMAT: N, UNIT_OF_MEASURE, Character

 

Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Create an element that uses lookup code for the character input value.
  2.  Create an element link
  3.  Create batch header
  4.  Run API(pay_batch_element_entry_api.create_batch_line) to create batch lines
