When Authoring a Service Contract, Serial Number for Instances that do not belong to the Customer are not Displayed (Doc ID 2614944.1)

Find that when authoring a service contract, at the sub-line level, one chooses the Level Product and then use the Serial Number LOV, however, serial number for instances that do not belong to the customer are not displayed. Why is that?
