Goal
A user creates a PO with one line, one shipment, and two distributions for $50 each. The $50 funding on Distribution 1 expires at the end of 2019, and the $50 funding on Distribution 2 expires at the end of 2020.
It is now January 2020, and the funding on Distribution 1 has expired.
To add some context to the question: Currently, the users are creating single distributions per shipment, but we are evaluating the impact/consequences if we were to start using dozens of distributions per shipment.
Question: With the understanding that EBS does not allow cancellation/removal of a PO distribution, how is the customer meant to handle this scenario?
What is the business process that the agency should follow in EBS to effectively nullify that distribution?
