Symptoms

Problem Statement:

After terminating the long running "Geocode Upgrade Manager", county value is truncated to 20 characters (per_addresses.region_1 and hr_locations_all.region_1).
When clicking the Address button in the People form, the following error occurs.

APP-PER-51279: Invalid combination of city, county and state

 

 

Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Terminate "Geocode Upgrade Manager" that was submitted with DEBUG mode.
  2.  County value is truncated to 20 characters.
  3.  Go to Address form
     (N) People > Enter and Maintain > (B) Address
  4.  Error occurs

 

Re-submitting the request with debug or upgrade mode completes in seconds and no child request is spawned (e.g. Geocode Upgrae Preprocess, Geocode Upgrade Concurrent Program)
