Goal

After upgraded OID to 11.1.1.9 running registration script:

$FND_TOP/bin/txkrun.pl -script=SetSSOReg -registeroid=yes -provisiontype=3 -rdbmsdn=cn=OracleContext,"dc=us,dc=example,dc=com"

 

You are registering this instance with LDAP Server.

Enter LDAP Host name? ldaphost.us.example.com

Enter the LDAP Port on Oracle Directory server? 13061

Enter the LDAP Directory Administrator (orcladmin) Bind password? <LDAPAdmin_Password>

Enter the instance password that you would like to register this application instance with? <Instance_Password>

Enter Oracle E-Business apps database user password ? <Apps_Password>

*** Log File = /.../logs/appl/rgf/TXK/txkSetSSOReg_Fri_Jan_10_23_03_21_2020.xml

Beginning input parameter validation for LDAP Directory registration.

It is failing with the following error:


*** ERROR :  Could not retrieve Oracle Net Descriptor 'orclnetdescstring' for this Database
from the Directory. Ensure that the -rdbmsdn parameter passed is correct.
